R. J. Smith Lab. was founded in 1993. Ray Smith the owner, was born and raised in Hespeler, Ontario. Ray spent his first years in the work force working under his fathers supervision in a family owned machine shop. After four years he moved into working in a small dental laboratory setting, and there he found his dream. After going back to school for dental technology and receiving his RDT which he has had since 1987, he afterwards worked in a larger operation laboratory for several years. Ray then decided it was time to open R.J. Smith Dental Laboratory which has carried the tradition of family, with his wife Therese and his two sons Dylan, and Josh. They look Forward to carrying on this tradition as well as keeping up with the ever escalating technology and the highest quality standards.
